Cheyenne Fire Rescue runs more than twice the amount of calls, then the remaining Laramie County fire departments, combined.
We do so, from the same five fire stations, as there were in 1987, when Station 4 was closed…and yet to be reopened.
The City of Cheyenne’s fire department hasn’t seen a new fire station since 1992, when Station 1 was relocated from Pioneer Avenue…but it wasn't relocated due to growth.
Proposition 1 was very important to your Cheyenne Firefighters. This is the closest we’ve seen to growth in any of our members’ careers. We thank our voters for your support!
